2025 NFL Mock Draft: Predicting the Round One Selections for all 32 NFL Teams

It’s that time again! The NFL Draft is here and it’s as unpredictable and mysterious as any Draft I’ve covered! As per usual, I will try to put my final predictions together into a complete Round 1 NFL Mock Draft. Last year, I successfully predicted 12 player-to-team selections, although the order was mixed up for some, and the only QB-to-team match I missed in Round 1 was Michael Penix Jr. to the Falcons (I had the Raiders selecting the former Washington standout).

In 2025, I’d love to best that performance, but it will be incredibly difficult. There’s not a huge gap between prospect 10 and prospect 40 on most big boards, and teams will each have their favorites they’ll be targeting throughout the 1st Round. Things could get wild as early as Pick 4 after the consensus top 3 players in Cam Ward, Travis Hunter, and Abdul Carter are likely selected at the top.

Let me be clear, this Mock is my actual final prediction for how things will go down on Thursday night. This is not a reflection of what I would do or what I “hope” will happen. With that in mind, here is my Final 2025 NFL Mock Draft.

*This Mock Draft was revised on Thursday, April 24th based on new information and rumors.

PICK 1 | TENNESSEE TITANS
CAM WARD, QUARTERBACK, MIAMI

Ward has been the locked and loaded 1st overall pick for Tennessee for some time now. He’s easily the best QB prospect in the class and gives the Titans a chance at landing a high-end Franchise QB. It’s a new era in the Music City.

PICK 2 | CLEVELAND BROWNS
TRAVIS HUNTER, WIDE RECEIVER/CORNERBACK, COLORADO

This pick also seems to be set in stone, with the Browns hoping to utilize Hunter’s insane 2-way ability to boost the offense out wide in the passing game and supplement a defensive secondary that could use a lockdown playmaker opposite Denzel Ward.

PICK 3 | NEW YORK GIANTS
ABDUL CARTER, EDGE, PENN STATE

The Giants forego QB as well, despite already having Brian Burns and Kayvon Thibodeaux on the roster. Carter isn’t just any old Edge Rusher prospect, though. He’s an immediate impact playmaker off the edge with rare physical tools and All-Pro upside from Day 1. Can’t pass on that.

PICK 4 | NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
WILL CAMPBELL, OFFENSIVE TACKLE, LSU

The Patriots can’t afford to get cute here. It’s all about Drake Maye in NE, and you absolutely must add to an atrocious offensive line and invest in protecting your biggest asset. Campbell is still my OT1 in this Draft, despite his less-than-ideal length. He’s just a really good football player.

*PICK 5 | JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
ASHTON JEANTY, RUNNING BACK, BOISE ST.

This is where things could go psycho. I originally thought the late Ashton Jeanty hype here at number 5 was a smokescreen to lure a trade up from Chicago or Dallas, and while that may still be the case, I’m starting to lean towards the Jags going bold on offense to help out with the revival of Trevor Lawrence. Jeanty would help take a lot of pressure of that group.

*PICK 6 | LAS VEGAS RAIDERS
MASON GRAHAM, DEFENSIVE TACKLE, MICHIGAN

With Jeanty off the board, the Raiders could address either side of the Line of Scrimmage with this pick, but I have them going with the top DT on the board in Graham. Pairing him with last year’s big Free Agent acquisition, Christian Wilkins, and All-World Edge Rusher Maxx Crosby up front gives them insurance against Wilkins’ injury history and at best could form one of the more formidable defensive fronts in the league.

*PICK 7 | NEW YORK JETS
TYLER WARREN, TIGHT END, PENN STATE

Yes, the Jets have bigger needs, but rumors are that they love Warren and view him as one of the truly elite players in this Draft. He will provide an outlet for easy completions and YAC for new QB Justin Fields. If I’m the Jets, I can get a DT or RT on Day 2. What I can’t get is another Warren. He’s one of this Draft’s unicorns.

PICK 8 | CAROLINA PANTHERS
JALON WALKER, LINEBACKER/EDGE, GEORGIA

Walker has been linked to the Panthers for weeks, and I think they make that rumor a reality on Thursday. Walker is dynamite, although he wasn’t utilized to his potential at UGA. He’s more concept than reality at this point, but if he hits, it could be a massive boost for a talent-poor Carolina defense.

*PICK 9 | NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
ARMAND MEMBOU, OFFENSIVE TACKLE, MISSOURI

Membou would fill an immediate need for the Saints at RT after the retirement of Ryan Ramczyk last week. While many have Edge defender Mykel Williams mocked here, I think Membou is too good to pass up for new HC Kellen Moore as he begins to rebuild this team in his image.

*PICK 10 | CHICAGO BEARS
KELVIN BANKS JR., OFFENSIVE TACKLE, TEXAS

Once projected to be in the OT1 conversation, KBJ has fallen down boards a little because of injuries, but there’s chatter he could go higher than typically mocked, much like Mykel Williams, so I have him landing with the Bears who still need OL help. You can play Banks at LT right away if you’re Chicago.

*PICK 11 | SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
MYKEL WILLIAMS, EDGE, GEORGIA

The Niners would love to add the traits-y DE Williams to their DL after losing a large majority of it to Free Agency. Nick Bosa needs a running mate at Edge, and Williams’ upside rivals any player in this Draft. I thnk San Fran is determined to add to trenches on defense, so one of the DTs like Walter Nolan could be in play here too.

PICK 12 | DALLAS COWBOYS
TETAIROA MCMILLAN, WIDE RECEIVER, ARIZONA STATE

In my opinion, McMillan is the perfect compliment for CeeDee Lamb in Dallas, offering big play ability on the outside, the ability to win 1v1’s as a contested catch artist and underrated separator from the X. This will help stretch the field for the offense and give Lamb more space underneath. RB could be in play here as well with Omarion Hampton still on the board. T-Mac helps your biggest stars (Lamb and QB Dak Prescott) most at this spot in the Draft though.

*PICK 13 | MIAMI DOLPHINS
MALACHI STARKS, SAFETY, GEORGIA

The late buzz is that the Fins are in love with Starks playmaking ability and versatility in the secondary. With Jalen Ramsey looking more and more likely to be traded and Javon Holland also gone, Miami could use Starks to settle things down for a secondary in turmoil this offseason. It’s a little early for him in my opinion, but this isn’t about what I would do. It’s about what I think will happen.

PICK 14 | INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
COLSTON LOVELAND, TIGHT END, MICHIGAN

Loveland is getting a lot of hype late in the process. There’s some noise teams have him as their TE1. He doesn’t make it past the Colts in my opinion. Elite size, length, and field-stretching athleticism make him a fascinating option for a team that desperately needs someone to come in and just give Anthony Richardson some easy buckets in the passing game. He also has the upside as a blocker to be a complete TE1 in this league in short order.

PICK 15 | ATLANTA FALCONS
MIKE GREEN, EDGE, MARSHALL

The Falcons could look to trade out of this pick if the right partner materializes, but at the same time, this is a team with a gaping hole at one of the game’s most impactful positions, and it just so happens there’s a high-end prospect to fill that void. Green is polarizing due to off-field concerns, but on the field, he’s got a chance to be special. The Falcons will take anything at Edge above replacement at this point. Green clears that bar by miles.

PICK 16 | ARIZONA CARDINALS
JIHAAD CAMPBELL, LINEBACKER, ALABAMA

The Cards are a tough one to pick for. In the end, I went with one of my favorite players in the Draft and one of the better defensive playmakers in this cycle for a Cardinals team that needs help at every level of the defense as well. Campbell can help in all 3. He’s got pass-rush juice, chase-and-tackle ability, and coverage chops. He’d be an awesome chess piece for HC Jonathan Gannon.

PICK 17 | CINCINNATI BENGALS
SHEMAR STEWART, EDGE, TEXAS A&M

The Bengals can’t believe their luck! Stewart has negligeable college production, but his measurables and traits are off the charts, and his utilization for the Aggies was dreadfully dull. If given the opportunity to pin his ears back at the NFL level, he could be the steal of the Draft at Pick 17.

PICK 18 | SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
TYLER BOOKER, OFFENSIVE GUARD, ALABAMA

WR or IOL? That’s the question haunting Seattle fans right now. I think Mike MacDonald will prioritize the trenches in the draft as the team attempts to establish it’s identity in Year 2 for this regime. Seattle wants to run the ball with Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonet and they need to protect their newly acquired QB Sam Darnold. Booker is a nasty, mauling blocker. He fits the bill.

Trade!! Buccaneers send Pick 19 to Browns for Pick 33, 67, and a ’26 2nd

Here’s the big move for a QB from one of the 2 desperate franchises that missed out on Cam Ward at the top of the Draft. Cleveland finds a willing partner in Tampa Bay, who saw likely top target Jihaad Campbell go ahead of them to the Cardinals. It’s been reported that the Bucs could be looking to move back anyway, so this is a win-win for both teams.

PICK 19 | CLEVELAND BROWNS (FROM BUCCANEERS)
SHEDEUR SANDERS, QUARTERBACK, COLORADO

Cleveland desperately needs to land a high-upside QB on a Rookie contract to balance out the Deshaun Watson albatross, and after passing on Sanders at 2 in favor of his former teammate at Colorado, the Browns package some Draft capital to move up in front of their division rival Steelers and land the best remaining QB who happens to be sliding down the board.

PICK 20 | DENVER BRONCOS
MATTHEW GOLDEN, WIDE RECEIVER, TEXAS

The Broncos could easily go with UNC RB Omarion Hampton here, but the value for Golden is just too much for Sean Peyton to pass up. The field-stretching former Longhorn WR would pair nicely with Courtland Sutton and give Bo Nix a reliable intermediate separator and downfield speed threat, taking some of the heat off Sutton on the perimeter and giving newly acquired TE Evan Engram space to work in the MOF.

PICK 21 | PITTSBURGH STEELERS
DERRICK HARMON, DEFENSIVE TACKLE, OREGON

The Steelers could also go with Omarion Hampton here with the dynamic RB still on the board, but with Shedeur Sanders (who I don’t think they were going to Draft anyway) gone and the team’s recent focus on fixing the trenches, I think the Steelers find the best cross of need and value and take Harmon, whose physical profile and playstyle match what the Steelers are looking for in Round 1.

PICK 22 | LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
KENNETH GRANT, DEFENSIVE TACKLE, MICHIGAN

With the top WRs and TEs off the board, it feels like this is a battle between DT and CB as to which is most needed for this Chargers squad. With the Jim Harbaugh-Michigan connection playing a major role in this selection process, I have the Chargers going with the high upside of Kenneth Grant, who immediately steps in as their Poona Ford replacement, but who also has the upside to be much more for an improving defensive front there in LA.

PICK 23 | GREEN BAY PACKERS
WALTER NOLAN, DEFENSIVE TACKLE, OLE MISS

Three straight DTs come off the board in this mini 1st Round run on the position. The Packers take the last remaining of the 3 non-Mason Graham 1st Rd DT prospects, but they may end up getting the most dynamic one of them all. Nolen has elite burst and surge off the ball, but he also lacks consistent motor and needs to improve his anchor as a run defender. The Packers need playmakers up front on defense, and with the 1st Round options at Edge mostly picked through, I think they go with the next best Front 4 player in the class in Nolan.

Trade!! The Vikings send Pick 24 to the Chiefs for Picks 31 & 66

The Chiefs ruthlessly jump in front of the Texans in this scenario to steal the best remaining OT prospect from another AFC contender, and the Vikings, who only have 4 selections in this Draft, add one more in the Chiefs high 3rd Rounder.

PICK 24 | KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (FROM VIKINGS)
JOSH SIMMONS, OFFENSIVE TACKLE, OHIO STATE

Protect Patrick Mahomes. Protect Patrick Mahomes. Protect Patrick Mahomes. Simmons is great value at this point in the Draft, even though the Chiefs had to pay for it. If he had stayed healthy all last year, he’d be a Top 10 pick in this class and it wouldn’t be much of a debate.

PICK 25 | HOUSTON TEXANS
GREY ZABEL, OFFENSIVE LINE, NORTH DAK. STATE

While I think Houston would prefer to land a surefire OT, Zabel can do so much for you as one of the more versatile OL prospects in the class. He gives the Texans the ability to throw out their best 5 guys and make it work. He probably can survive at OT in the NFL in a pinch, and I believe he’ll eventually be an elite full-time interior O-lineman either at OG or OC for the team that picks him. The Texans just need good O-linemen, and Zabel is just that.

PICK 26 | LOS ANGELES RAMS
JAHDAE BARRON, CORNERBACK, TEXAS

The Rams would prefer, I think, to land Matthew Golden if he fell to them, but they don’t have a 2nd Round pick, which hurts their ability to move up, and I think Corner might actually be the bigger need for Sean McVay’s squad. Barron is one of the best 10-12 players in this Draft, but he falls with other teams filling more pressing needs, and many teams viewing him as mostly a Nickel defender who could move outside in a jam.

PICK 27 | BALTIMORE RAVENS
NICK EMMANWORI, SAFETY, SOUTH CAROLINA

The Ravens typically let the Draft come to them in Round 1, and in this situation, they land one of the premier athletes at Safety that we’ve ever seen. Pairing Emmanwori with Kyle Hamilton would give Baltimore a ferocious duo with fun interchangeable skillsets to mix up coverages and dominate teams in the box. It’s not their biggest need, but it would make them better on the backend immediately.

PICK 28 | DETROIT LIONS
DONOVAN EZEIRUAKU, EDGE, BOSTON COLLEGE

The Lions found out the hard way last year what it means to lose a star Edge rusher and not have anyone else to fill those shoes effectively. Ezeiruaku is climbing Draft boards with his versatile pass-rush skillset and incredible college production. He’s a good schematic fit across from Aiden Hutchinson for Detroit, who needs to continue to beef up across the defensive front in order to keep up in an improving NFC.

*PICK 29 | WASHINGTON COMMANDERS
JAMES PIERCE JR., EDGE, TENNESSEE

Washington needs some serious juice off the edge, and that is Pierce’s specialty. The Commanders take a swing on the upside with this pick, relying on HC Dan Quinn’s ability to integrate him into the locker room despite some of the off-field concerns. It’s a high-risk, high-reward move for the Commanders.

*PICK 30 | BUFFALO BILLS
WILL JOHNSON, CORNERBACK, MICHIGAN

The Bills run this card to the table to stop the slide for Johnson, whose refusal to run the 40 and failure to squash concerns about his overall athleticism has made teams nervous about selecting him. Buffalo is a great fit for Johnson’s playstyle, and I personally would still take him much earlier than this if I was a CB needy team. The Bills get a top prospect to land in their laps at a major position of need.

PICK 31 | MINNESOTA VIKINGS (FROM CHIEFS)
MAXWELL HAIRSTON, CORNERBACK, KENTUCKY

Minnesota sacrifices getting their choice at CB by trading back, but they only had 4 picks to play with in this Draft, so adding another Day 2 selection and still landing Hairston is a sweet consolation prize. Brian Flores needs youth and athleticism for his secondary to really thrive, and Hairston brings a ton of physical tools to the table. His recognition skills need work, but his speed and fluidity allow him to mirror well in man coverage, and he has the closing speed to drive on throws to the outside.

PICK 32 | PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
NICK SCOURTON, EDGE, TEXAS A&M

The Eagles have options with the final pick in the 1st Round. They could grab one of the O-Linemen left on the board like OG Donovan Jackson or they could grab a CB or DT here. In the end, I have them grabbing Scourton, an Edge Rusher they brought in for a Top 30 visit and who fits the mold of athleticism and size the Philly Front Office looks for.

I feel like DT in round one is almost a lock the way the Steelers have played early free agency. With that being said, what is your dark horse position here that you could see them addressing? I asked Jeff a similar question last week, but I am wondering if you have any differing thoughts!

My potential dark horse is a defensive back.
