2025 Steelers Schedule Preview: Week 11 vs. the Cincinnati Bengals

It’s the official lull of the NFL offseason, and that means it provides enough time to go over things which you might not have time to dive into when the news and storylines are rampant. One of the things which is always something I want to do is an in-depth preview on the schedule. When the schedule gets released it involves a very knee jerk reaction from the fan base, but not a lot of introspection happens once the dust settles.

Well, if you’re like me, you’re in luck. This is the detailed breakdown of the Steelers 2025 regular season schedule, by week.

Week 11 vs. the Cincinnati Bengals

Date: Sunday, November 16th – 1:00pm EST

TV: CBS

Betting Line: Bengals (-1.5) / Total: 46.5 / Moneyline: Bengals -120 / Steelers +100

Last Meeting: 01/4/2025 – Bengals 19, Steelers 17

Overall Series Record: Pittsburgh Steelers lead series 71-40-0

2024 Records:

Steelers: 10-7

Bengals: 9-8

Projected Starting QB Matchup: Aaron Rodgers vs. Joe Burrow

Analysis: The Pittsburgh Steelers, according to my predictions, have started the second half of the season knowing what was coming. What was coming was a stretch of games which are significantly more difficult than the first half of the season. The first game of the second half was the Week 10 game in Los Angeles vs. the Chargers, which I deemed to be a loss.

Their next game is another AFC North division, their second against the Cincinnati Bengals, but this game is at Acrisure Stadium.

I predicted the Steelers to drop the first game vs. the Bengals, but I don’t think they get swept by Cincinnati. For those who find it difficult to read between the lines, I see the Steelers winning this Week 11 game at home.

The Steelers offense should find their groove against a really bad Cincinnati defense, and ultimately they outlast the high-powered Bengals offense. Some might suggest the Steelers defense won’t give up 28 points, but they can’t shut out every team for the entire season.

The win moves their record to 7-3 before another road trip, this to the windy city to play the Chicago Bears in Week 12.

Prediction: Steelers 31, Bengals 28

Steelers are a slight home dog, while Pgh was a bigger dog away. Makes sense, I suppose. Wonder if Bungles will sign Hendrickson–Shemar had less recourse than Hendrickson, but a season holdout is awfully expensive. Poor Trey. Andrew has Steelers finishing ’25 at 10-7, in his article… this series has a ways to get to the finish.
