2025 Steelers Schedule Preview: Week 6 vs. the Cleveland Browns
It’s the official lull of the NFL offseason, and that means it provides enough time to go over things which you might not have time to dive into when the news and storylines are rampant. One of the things which is always something I want to do is an in-depth preview on the schedule. When the schedule gets released it involves a very knee jerk reaction from the fan base, but not a lot of introspection happens once the dust settles.
Well, if you’re like me, you’re in luck. This is the detailed breakdown of the Steelers 2025 regular season schedule, by week.

Analysis: Before getting into the specific analysis of this game, let me set the stage for this game. The Steelers are coming off a bye week in Week 5, this after playing the Vikings in Dublin in Week 4, and the Browns are coming off an overseas game vs. the Browns in Week 5. The NFL didn’t give the Browns a bye week after their international game, or they chose to have their week off later in the season. Either way, the travel differences could play a role in the outcome of this game.
Other than that, in Week 6 the big question for the Browns will be who is at the helm of the offense. Will it be the veteran Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, or one of the two rookies drafted in the 2025 NFL Draft?
The Cleveland defense looks to be the strength of their team, once again, but will it be good enough to win them football games early in the season? The Browns offense is lacking, at more positions than just quarterback, and I don’t feel as if this game sets up well for the Browns at Acrisure Stadium.
Coming off my first predicted loss, and the bye week, I think the Steelers get back on track with their 4th win, and their first AFC North division win of the 2025 season.
Prediction: Steelers 24, Browns 16
