Best Remaining Free Agents at Positions of Need for the Steelers
The 2025 NFL Draft is in the books, and while the vast majority of free agency has concluded, there are still available players on the market. These players also won’t count against the popular compensatory pick formula. For the Pittsburgh Steelers there are positions of need which should be focused on.
Before trading George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys wide receiver wouldn’t be on the list, but it absolutely is on there now. Positions along the offensive line, offensive guard and tackle, are on the list in terms of needing quality depth. Defensive backfield could also use some veteran assistance, and that is why defensive back and safety are included in the lists below.
So, with that out of the way, below are just a selection of players still available. In other words, moves can still be made between now and training camp.

Of the above players, who are some players you’d like to see them bring in? Let us know in the comment section below, and be sure to stay tuned to SCN for the latest news and notes surrounding the Steelers as they prepare for minicamp and OTAs.
Consider Blackmon at S, Hubbard at swing OT (how is Dylan Cook?),
Cooper at WR2, corner and guard (how is Spenser Anderson?) are too tough for me.
Actually, that list of FA wide receivers isn’t all that bad. Pretty much any of those guys would be an ok WR2. Perhaps Omar Kahn has something in the mix with one of them.
Would be nice, if that’s so.
