Getting to know the Steelers 2025 UDFAs: Ke’Shawn Williams
After the Pittsburgh Steelers selected seven players in the 2025 NFL draft, they continued adding to the roster by coming to terms with seven undrafted free agents (and later added an eighth). With many draft profiles focusing on those players towards the top and middle of the NFL draft, it is time to get to take a look at these other members of the Pittsburgh Steelers who will have just as much opportunity to make the roster in 2025 as those who were selected in the draft, despite the more difficult path.
Remember, some draft profiles for these players are quite harsh as they are looking at them as a draftable prospect. Taking a flyer on an UDFA is a completely different story as many times the potential the player shows is what lands them on an NFL offseason roster.
Next up is wide receiver Ke’Shawn Williams from Indiana.

Draft Profile
Here is a breakdown from nfl.com:
Overview
Box-score scouting doesn’t give enough insight into what Williams can bring to the table. He has a limited catch radius but his toughness and hand strength help make up for it. He can run short and intermediate routes as a possession slot receiver but tends to shine when he’s allowed catch-and-run opportunities, where he’s proven very difficult to bring down. Williams is highly competitive and offers kick and punt return potential to enrich his chances of making a roster.
Strengths
- Compact frame with adequate speed and explosiveness.
- Possesses play strength to play through route contact.
- Competes hard for 50/50 throws and catches with strong hands.
- Provides jet sweep and quick game value as a runner.
- Lower half is slippery but powerful, making him harder to tackle.
- Capable of competing for kick and punt return duties.
Weaknesses
- Limited catch radius requires above-average accuracy from the quarterback.
- Below-average separation burst underneath.
- Slight drift toward the coverage out of route breaks.
- Inconsistent sinking into zone pockets with proper spacing.
