See Will Howard and Kaleb Johnson in their Steelers uniforms
I can’t speak for you, the reader, but there is something about getting to see the Pittsburgh Steelers rookie class in their new jerseys which is exciting.
Yes, at rookie minicamp we got to see the newly drafted players rocking the black-and-gold, but those were just practice uniforms. I’m talking about the game day uniforms. The fact we won’t get to see these new players in their game day uniforms until the 2025 preseason means it is special when you get to see them before that time.
Every year the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) hosts their Rookie Premiere, and it is the first chance fans get to see the rookies in their new uniforms. For the Pittsburgh Steelers, they had two players representing the team at the Premiere, and they were 3rd Round pick Kaleb Johnson and 6th Round pick Will Howard.
Here is the entire 2025 Rookie Premiere class, can you spot both Steelers?

Kaleb Johnson and the rest of the running back class took a cool photo together with their new threads:

Last, but certainly not least, the two Steelers rookies had a message to deliver to the fans who might be watching on social media:

Not every year do the Steelers have a representative at the Rookie Premiere, but last year the representative was Roman Wilson. Let’s hope the rookie seasons for Howard and especially Johnson pan out better than last season did for Wilson.
Be sure to stay tuned to SCN for the latest news and notes surrounding the Steelers as they prepare for the rest of the offseason and get ready for minicamp and training camp.
It’s neat Howard and Johnson got to attend that rookie event. 31 years this event been sponsored. Tad too late for Louis Lipps to have gone.
