Steelers Burning Question: Who will be WR2 in 2025?
Last season I did the Friday Night Steelers Six Pack and wondered if it was worth doing further. After all, interaction was not great, and sometimes you just have to adjust. So I decided to call an audible, and not just abandon the Friday night meeting of the black-and-gold minds.
Instead of six questions, I wanted to focus solely on one question.
We’ll still do the preamble of what you’re eating/drinking/listening to, but we’ll focus our attention on the one Steelers question of the week. Don’t worry, most weeks I’ll do a bonus/extra credit question for fun. With all that out of the way, let’s get to the question!
Who will be WR2 in 2025?
Before we debate this, which has been done an incredible amount this offseason, I want to clarify the question. I’m only talking about pass catchers who are on the Steelers current roster, and I’m only talking about productivity.
Therefore, if the Steelers use Calvin Austin III the second most snaps as a receiver behind only DK Metcalf, but Pat Freiermuth is more productive from a yards, receptions and touchdowns perspective, CA3 wouldn’t be the WR2. It would be Freiermuth due to him being more productive.
I hope this makes sense…so who do you think will be WR2? It could be a TE, so we’ll open it up to all potential pass catchers.

As for what I’m eating, it’s an unknown as of me writing this considering we’ll be traveling home today, and that likely means it’s takeout of some sort. As for drink, it’s going to be store bought kombucha and the the music will be some Dead and Company on Spotify in the car home.

Eating barbecued ham I whipped together in the crock pot. Mom would approve.
Played hookie today, and got an early start drinking The Truth IPA from Flying Dog. It’s pretty good, very full body, and flavorful without a heavy alcohol taste, in spite of, its 9% ABV.
It’s a georgous day so I’m Sitting on my front porch with my dog watching cars go by while my Frank Sinatra Pandora station plays on the speaker.
WR 2 in terms of production? I’m going with Roman Wilson. I think he’s gonna be a favorite outlet target for Rodgers, and a YAK machine.
Lastly, I bought a lottery ticket for the big lottery. So, if anyone is interested, for a dollar I can tell you the numbers that WON’T get picked…

Thought for sure the question would be would you have been satisfied with trading Watt for what the Cowboys got for Parsons. I wouldn’t be.
