Steelers Not Done with Rookie Minicamp Invites

The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to be active in the Post-NFL Draft landscape signing Undrafted Free Agents and sending off invitations to intriguing prospects to attend their Rookie Mini-Camp scheduled for May 8-11, 2025. While most fans are enamored with the Steelers actual Draft selections, we here at the Steel Curtain Network promise to keep you updated on every player that gets an opportunity to compete for a roster spot this offseason.

Let’s take a look at another string of reported invitees to Steelers’ Rookie Camp:

Gareth Warren, OFFENSIVE TACKLE, LINDENWOOD

Warren is a massive O-Lineman from Hawaii who has experience at former Division II school Lindenwood at both OG and OT. His size and length earn him a look from the Steelers, a team familiar with turning project prospects into viable NFL talents at OT. (See: Alejandro Villenueva)

Nate Matlack, EDGE, PITT

Matlack will get a look from the Chiefs and Steelers. He’s got some intriguing pop off the edge as a pass rusher.

Dom Serapiglia, CENTER, CENTRAL MICHIGAN

Serapiglia is a Pittsburgh native, so this must be a dream come true for the Center who played his best ball at Central Michigan. The Steelers only have 2 true Centers on the roster, so maybe the local kid gets a chance to compete as a backup option for Pittsburgh.

Omarion Dollison, WIDE RECEIVER, JAMES MADISON

Dollison is a lightning quick, undersized receiver with lots of production between his time at South Florida and JMU. He’ll need to show he can really weaponize his speed to overcome some of the size concerns, but he has NFL athleticism. Could just need a chance!

Max Hurleman, SPECIAL TEAMS, NOTRE DAME

Hurleson is a do-it-all special teams ace for the Irish, and again has ties to the area as a born and raised Pennsylvanian. He’ll get a chance to put his athleticism on display for Mike Tomlin and co. next week.

Debo Williams, LINEBACKER, SOUTH CAROLINA

Williams is a rocked-up, compact LB with burst and a bruising downhill playstyle. You love his demeanor on the field, but his vision and instincts need a lot of work. Athletically, he has a chance to catch some eyes at Camp.

Jayden Johnson, SAFETY, ARKANSAS

Johnson loves to play around the LOS, and he has good closing speed to track down ball carriers and makes them feel him when he arrives. He’ll get a chance to make his mark on the Steelers’ coaching staff next week.

I’d feel better about UFL players if their season was moved earlier in the year.
