Steelers vs. Panthers, Preseason Week 3: 2nd Half news, updates and open thread
It is hard to believe, but this is the third Pittsburgh Steelers season for us in our new home, and it’s as exciting in Year 3 as it was in Year 1. However, this is also the first season with our new-look website, which I’m really excited about! However, with that comes some curiosity, and trepidation, about what this new home will look like during games.
Last season we started off slow, but these open threads during games became more and more lively as the season progressed. We are hoping we pick up right where we left off in 2023 and get some great participation in these game day open threads. If there is a desire/need for quarterly open threads in the regular season, I’ll be more than happy to make that adjustment.
This is the 2nd half open thread for the Steelers vs. Panthers, Week 3 preseason game.
In the meantime, stay tuned to SCN for the latest news and notes surrounding the Steelers, and enjoy the upcoming game vs. the Carolina Panthers in Week 3 of the NFL preseason!
Let’s see who wants to make this team.
2. Yahya Black
3rd and 4th teamers getting gashed.
Black getting tired of that mess.
Our ball!
Cross Woods off that 53.
Really want to keep that Sermon kid.
Practice squad at least.
I don’t know, I really want Lew Nichols.
Sophie’s choice!
I’m ok with Leal getting on with his life’s work, but injuries may spare him.
Don’t know. They’ve been playing him at OLB.
That’s what I mean. Herbig and Highsmith both injured.
Highsmith is close to returning to practice. Haven’t seen an update on Herbig. Eh maybe.
Give me more Lew
Right there with you.
12 penalties. Good grief.
Harmon back on the sideline in street clothes. Hopefully, some good news there.
Oh man I hope so. I’m sooooo tired of putting a top draft pick on IR every year before the season even starts.
True that. Hopefully something minor. I can’t imagine that he would be back out there with a torn ligament.
The Steelers currently have THIRTEEN penalties for 104 yards!?! Wow. NFG.
Preseason for the refs too. Gotta get them flag throwing arms in shape.
