Updated Day 2 NFL Mock Draft: Shedeur and Shough Available in 2nd Round
Night 1 of the 2025 NFL Draft is in the books, and after several surprising shake-ups, it is only fitting we give you a revised mock draft for Night 2.
While I do expect a good number of trades to occur, I do not have as many tips and rumors to go off, so my number of projected trades will likely be fewer than the amount that actually come to fruition. With several big-name quarterbacks still available, it should make for an intriguing night.

I hope we don’t trade Pickens. I really want to see him and DK on the field together. If that does happen, I’d really want to see if for one of the remaining Blue Chip DB;’s like Johnson or Emmanwori.
Gonna be another fun day.
Very much so, excited to see what the Steelers do.
You just can’t help yourself – you just gotta trade George.
I’m not doing it because I want to, I’m doing it because I believe it’s a possibility based on what I’ve heard.
Better question is, why would anyone give a second round pick for Pickens and a fourth? Did the league forget AB, Mapletron, and Martavis Bryant?
Perhaps they did. OR, they see that Pickens has been more affected by scheme and QB play than the other 3 guys were. AB’s and Martavis’ issues were character, Mapletron’s was lack of effort. Pickens is just maturity and personality. Separate type of issue.
You are more plugged in than the average guy so I trust you’re rumor reports, but I’m in Baltimore, and there’s no talk here – and the guys on the radio are very plugged in and loooove talking about Steelers controversy. Nada.
diana russini reported it today as well.
Not a peep during the draft by any of the talking heads.
If I trade Pickens, I’m drafting a receiver. I don’t like the Milroe pick; concerned that if they take “a guy” out of need this year they’ll pass up an opportunity to draft “THE GUY” next year and spend another 2-3 seasons doing the Kenny Pickett thing again. I’d rather see them build the lines, get a running back, replace Pickens if a good opportunity is there, suck it up and ride with Mason & Friends for a season.
Perhaps. I feel that unless it’s a first round QB, it won’t preclude them from drafting a QB.
Why trade up to get milroe?
In this mock, the Browns, Saints, and Giants all have QBs now. No one is going to jump in and take milroe before 83 at that point.
Miami could. Raiders could. Seahawks could. Jets could. There’s at least 4, and I wouldn’t rule out the Rams either.
If that’s the market for George, I bet on George. So we lose our two and look for a RB in three, and grab the Ohio State kid at QB with four.
This is fun!
Very possible that happens. We’ll see.
I hope we don’t take Milroe. Especially to trade up for him would be a waste. He’s a project at best and he definitely isn’t up to par with other Alabama QB’s of years past.
In terms of upside, I think he has more than any other Alabama QB we’ve seen.
